Do you think the UDHR matters today?
We’d be very grateful if you’d take some time to consider the importance of the UDHR in your own life and share your insights with us. Specifically, please:
1. Read the UDHR to gain greater familiarity with its words;
2. Consider Article 1, which says, “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.”
3. Think about how the Article’s words relate to a current event you care about.
4. With Article 1 in mind, how would you describe why this current event is of such concern to you?
