The Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) is the most ratified human rights treaty in the world.  It was created in 1989 to ensure the provision, protection, and participation of all children everywhere.  It has been ratified by all United Nation member countries except for one – the USA.  Even if is not ratified, there are plenty of guidelines in the CRC treaty that would protect children’s health, education, safety, housing, food, and to live in homes and communities that have prioritized their best interest.  Learn more about them here:
